ORG Editorial, Moderation & Legal Guidelines
Occasionally we delete programs offending our open posting guidelines, as specified below. Because of the "real time" nature of the site, it is not possible to monitor its contents 24 hours a day. We would be grateful if you could help us maintain the quality of the information broadcast by reporting to info[at]puscii.nl (replace [at] with @) any program that you believe infringes upon the guidelines below:
- Repeated: content that is reposted or programs that were already played in the past.
- Boring, poor audio or recording quality (quality and minimum content): programs that are unlistenable or would make people fall asleep.
- Copyleft: any content or filler music that is not copyleft or non-commercial copyright (e.g. creative commons).
- Discrimination: programs using language, or other forms of communication, promoting racism, fascism, xenophobia, sexism or any other form of discrimination.
- Inaccurate, vague and/or inadequately sourced: programs that are clearly inaccurate or misleading (eg. no nazi-ufo's)
- Language: content in any language we can not understand. Currently we allow Dutch, English, German, French, and Italian.
- Advertising: program with personal, product or party-political promotions.
- Hierarchy: The site is designed to be a news and cultural resource, not a platform for structurally hierarchical organizations.
- Disruptive: Contributions by individuals who habitually publish the above-mentioned content.
If you feel your posting was wrongfully deleted, please e-mail info[at]puscii.nl
Radio shows can only be uploaded one hour in the future. This rule ensures that everybody can contribute whilst allowing a bare minimum time to monitor content so as to ensure the integrity of the site. Occasionally, ORG volunteers may break this rule, if they give a clear reason to the list why this is necessary, e.g. some urgent news has come to light.
Legal disclaimer: ORG is an interactive site offering inclusive participation. All postings to the open publishing program are the responsibility of the individual authors and not of ORG. Although ORG volunteers attempt to ensure accuracy of the news-stream, they take no responsibility, legal or otherwise, for the contents of the open publishing site.
